BlackCaps fast bowler Trent Boult has composed a song on the recent World Test Championship Final win

Xtra Time Web Desk: New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult’s prowess with the ball on the 22 yards is nothing new for any cricket fans across the world. The BlackCaps speedster recently presented himself in a new avatar. Boult collaborated with TV presenter James McOnie to compose a song on Blackcaps' sensational win in the World Test Championship final against India in Southampton. Kane Williamson and his boys completely outplayed the Indians, winning the match by 8 wickets.

The duo was seen singing the song beautifully describing the WTC Final win. The video of them singing together was shared on the official twitter handle of the BlackCaps. The caption read, "A special WTC 21 themed musical collaboration between Trent Boult and the Crowd Goes Wild's James McOnie,"

The 109-second-long video takes us back to New Zealand's historic win. Boult paid rich tribute to BlackCaps skipper Kane Williamson in the song as a line read, "to play for Kane."

The 31-year-old pacer also described the moment when Ross Taylor scored the winning runs for them, saying that it was a case of "redemption." Boult was part of the New Zealand team that lost the nail biting 2019 World Cup final against England at Lords.
