Video: Cristiano Ronaldo’s heartfelt message to the children affected in Syria
Internet Desk: Cristiano Ronaldo has come forward with a heartfelt message of hope and support for the children trapped in the Syrian conflict. The Real Madrid star has also donated money to assist emergency services, with Save the Children. The resources will be used to help children across Syria but notably in Aleppo, which has seen the worst of the fighting between rebels and the Assad government.
Ronaldo posted a special message on his official Twitter handle.
“Hello, this is for children of Syria, we know that you have been suffering a lot.
“I am a very famous player, but you are the true heroes. Don’t lose your hope, the world is with you.
“We care about you. I am with you.”
