When Shubman Gill was pranked by Rishabh Pant

Young batting sensation Shubman Gill on Tuesday revealed how he was the subject of a prank by his teammates during an India A tour. The Kolkata Knight Riders cricketers in a Q&A session on twitter shared how he was once pranked by the likes of Ishan Kishan, Krunal Pandya and Rishabh Pant. Answering to a query from a fan on whether he was ever pranked by his teammates, Gill wrote, "I went to have sushi for the first time with @RishabhPant17, @ishankishan51 and @krunalpandya24. They convinced me that wasabi was a great dessert and I believed them," Understandably it wasn’t to the liking of the young batsman from Punjab. https://twitter.com/RealShubmanGill/status/1254381525258268672 Gill has been touted as one of the future stars of Indian cricket. He was part of the Indian test team that toured New Zealand a couple of months back but unfortunately did not get an opportunity to play in either of the two test matches. He played a crucial role in helping India U19 win the World Cup in New Zealand in 2018. He was also the highest run getter for the team, scoring 372 runs from 6 matches. He has come a long way in establishing himself as a vital cog of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batting line-up.
