UEFA Champions League 2017-18: The draw is out for the semi finals

XtraTime Web Desk: The stage is ready for the much awaited action of the UEFA Champions League 2017-18 semi finals and final. Real Madrid, Liverpool, AS Roma and Bayern Munich will be battling it out to clinch the title.

Liverpool have been drawn against Roma in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The Reds, who dumped out Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate in the quarter finals, face the Italian side who staged one of the great comebacks to beat Barcelona in the last round.

It will be the 18th time the two European giants have met in the knockout stages of this competition. Liverpool and Roma have only met three times before.

The ties will be played on the 24th and 25th of this month with the second legs to be played on the 1st and 2nd of May.

In the other semi-final German champions Bayern Munich, who outlasted Sevilla, face 11-time winners Real Madrid, who needed a dramatic stoppage-time penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo to see off Juventus in the last round.
