Xtra Time Web Desk : Real Madrid on Tuesday will play Premier League leaders Manchester City in the second leg of semi final of the elite European competition, which is expected to be a high voltage clash between the two footballing giants at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Manchester City, fresh from a 4-3 victory over Real Madrid at the Etihad stadium in the first leg would feel themselves being at a slightly more advantageous position than their opponents with a slender 1 goal lead, although the 13 time champions are known for their prowess and expertise to turn any game in this tournament on it’s head.
While Pep Guardiola’s, playing on the Bernabeu turf, would be depending upon their possessional football, Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be heavily putting their hopes on their star striker Karim Benzema and skillful Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior to hit their opponents on counter attack.
The last time these two faced was during the 2019-20 champions league last 16, where Manchester City emerged as the winners with a double over the European heavyweights.
This time however, fans from both sides would expect their teams to clinch that elusive victory to march on into the finals of the UEFA Champions League.
