U19 World Cup : India U19 seals a massive 96 run victory over Australia in the semis to qualify for their 4th consecutive final in a row
Xtra Time Web Desk : India U19 team put up a stellar show on Wednesday as they reached the final of the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup 2022, after defeating Australia U19 by a humongous margin 96 runs in the semi finals, courtesy of a captain's knock from skipper Yash Dhull (110).
Winning the toss on the day, India U19 suffered an initial collapse from the top order. It was then a brilliant partnership of 204 runs between skipper Yash Dhull (110) and his deputy Shaik Rasheed (94) which helped India reach 290/5 at the end of 50 overs despite the initial setback. Jack Nisbet William Salzmann took two scalps each for Australia U19.
Coming on to bat second in order to chase a target of 291, the Australian batting line up lost wickets in quick intervals, without forming any major partnership, courtesy of some brilliant bowling from the Indian bowlers. The Aussies were bundled up for just 194 in less than 42 overs with Lachlan Shaw being the top scorer for them with a 51. On the other hand Vicky Ostwal continued his brilliant form as usual as he took three wickets. Apart from Ostwal, Nishant Sindhu, Ravi Kumar registered two scalps each to hand over India a comfortable 96 run victory over the Aussies.
The Indian colts will now look to win their fifth U19 World Cup title when they face England in the final of the tournament on Saturday.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
