Right when Lalramchullova seems to be doubtful for the next season and in talks with ISL side Chennaiyin FC, the club has started their work to rope in FC Pune City right fullback Ashutosh Mehta.
Ashutosh had always been in demands in the transfer market and this time the QEBFC officials are on a determination to sign him for the next season. Confirmed sources close to the player has told xtratime.in , “So many ISL clubs are keen to sign Ashutosh. The Kolkata giants both are after him. Yes, East Bengal is eager to have him next season.” It is learned that Sanjit Sen, the club CEO has already started to sign a few top Indian players as per the choices of Alejandro Menendez Garcia and Ashutosh is there in that list.
No doubt, if the club gets the services of Ashutosh Mehta, it will no doubt be a perfect replacement of Chullova. Meanwhile, Balwant Singh will continue play for ISL side, as he has one more year left in his contract, despite interest from Quess East Bengal.
