File Pic[/caption] Xtra Time Web Desk: Rajasthan Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane has given a simple suggestion to the controversial rule associated with the batsman being given not out if the bails are not dislodged even after the ball hitting the wicket. “The rules are rules. Having said that, may be the boundary could have not been counted. I told the umpire, at least don’t declare it a boundary. The T20 game is already heavily tilted in the favour of batsmen, and in such a situation, a ball can maybe be declared a dead ball. That was my conversation with the umpire,” the Rajasthan Royals captain was referring to the incident of Chris Lynn. During the Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) match against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 7, a ball from Rajasthan seamer Dhawal Kulkarni got an inside edge off KKR opener Chris Lynn and hit the stumps but did not dislodge the zing bails. In fact, the ball travelled past the boundary ropes and was awarded a boundary in favour of the batsman. Lynn went on to make 50 off 32 balls, which paved the way for an easy win for the Knights with 6.1 overs to spare.
