XtraTime Web Desk: East Bengal comes up with a terrific signing in the transfer market, as the Red and Gold brigade signs the main spearhead of Indian attack in the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2017 – Abhijit Sarkar. Abhijit who played for arrows last season, came into the limelight when he led India to a famous win over European powerhouse Italy’s U17 team.

In a statement the Kolkata Giant wrote, “Abhijit Sarkar, the Chennaiyin FC and Indian Arrows star signs for Quess East Bengal FC. Abhijit is originally from Bandel, West Bengal. He joins us from Chennaiyin FC on a season long loan deal. The 19 year old was an integral member of the U-17 World Cup team. Abhijit add’s tremendous firepower for the attacking line in the upcoming season.
