Transfer News: East Bengal going strong to build a decent team next season

XtraTime Web Desk: The Centinary year might have been a season to forget for East Bengal, but the officials have already started to build a strong team for the next season.

Confirmed sources told www.xtratime.in that the club has offered the likes of Ashutosh Mehta and Balwant Singh for the next season. It is learned that both the players are eager to play for the Kolkata Giants if they play in the ISL. Though the officials couldn’t confirm their participation in the ISL next season to their agent. Though the negotiations are still on and there is a good chance for both the players to sign for the Red and Gold brigade if things materialize.

Confirmed sources have also told XtraTime that the club wants to extend the contract with Asheer Akhtar, who had a decent season on loan from Bengaluru FC ‘B’.

The club has also shown their strong ‘interest’ on Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Rino Anto and CK Vineeth.

Though, East Bengal’s participation in the ISL will play a big role in their team build up for the next season.
