This is how Arjun Tendulkar lands England test cricketer in trouble

Internet Desk: Legendary Indian batsman and former skipper Sachin Tedulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar gave England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow a scare ahead of their opening Test against the Proteas at Lord’s from today.

Joe Root-led England cricket team were preparing for the first test against South Africa which will start later today and Arjun was helping the hosts with his bowling in the nets. Though, doing so the teenage paceman injured England’s star wicketkeeper batsman Jonny Bairstow.

“Jonny Bairstow suffered an unexpected injury scare ahead of the first Test against South Africa at Lord’s. The 27-year-old was pinned on the foot by a yorker from the teenage son of Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. Bairstow hobbled out of the nets after facing only one delivery from the 17-year-old Arjun Tendulkar,” a report on “Daily Mail” said.

According to the team management, Bairstow’s injury is not that serious and he will play the match against the Proteas.

Earlier, Arjun has also bowled during England’s practice session. Legendary Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram also praised his bowling.
