This Bangladesh cricketer returns home before test series against India
Xtra Time Web Desk: Bangladesh middle-order batsman Mosaddek Hossain has returned home due to personal reasons. Mosaddek was part of the T20I squad that recently played against India. He was also in the 15 member test squad for the upcoming series against India. The right-hand batsman played in the first two matches of the three-match T20I series but missed the third one due to injury.
Mosaddek returned on Monday with the players from T20 squad who are not part in the Test squad.
After the third and final T2OI match of the series against India on Sunday night, Bangladesh team media manager informed about Mosaddek’s departure and mentioned the reason as ‘family emergency’.
Bangladesh have not yet announced a replacement for Mosaddek at the moment as it is likely that the middle-order batsman will join with the team before the first Test.
