Dehradun: Former WWE wrestler Khali made a great comeback, as he avenged his humiliation at the hands of Canadian wrestler Brody Steel few days back. The Great Khali defeated Steel in the entertainment show named The Great Khali Returns at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.
Returning from a head injury sustained at the hands of the Canadian in Haldwani four days back, Khali knocked him down in style even as loud cheers greeted him from the audience.
Earlier on Wednesday night, Khali had suffered head and chest injuries during the Entertainment show and was subsequently airlifted the next morning to a speciality hospital in Dehradun.
The fight had to be stopped mid way after his opponents, Mike Knox and Brody Steel, beat up Khali with chairs. Despite getting injured, Khali vowed to make a comeback in the second show of ‘The Great Khali Returns Series’
Khali was quoted as saying , “It will be blood for blood and chair for chair,” said Khali after being discharged from the hospital.
