Captain Rohit Sharma and his teammates touched down in New Delhi from Barbados, where they had been stranded due to Hurricane Beryl. The victorious squad, along with head coach Rahul Dravid and the support staff, were greeted by thousands of jubilant fans at the New Delhi airport. The team's journey back from Barbados was not without its challenges. After spending an additional four days on the Caribbean island due to the hurricane, they finally made their way home on a special chartered plane arranged by the BCCI.
