Taskin Ahmed removes Virat Kohli with a peach of a delivery on Day 2 of second test | BANvIND

Xtra Time Web Desk: The celebrations of Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed said it all after he dismissed star India batter Virat Kohli for 24 runs on Day 2 of the ongoing second test match at the Sher e Bangla stadium in Mirpur on Friday. It was a length ball in the channel from the Bangladeshi pacer which was poked by Virat Kohli to the keeper Nurul Hasan Sohan. Taskin got very excited as he ran a good 20 yards to celebrate the prized scalp.

Few days back Taskin tweeted a photo of him with Virat Kohli as the duo was seen in the flight on their way to Dhaka from Chittagong. It was not known what was the discussion between the two on the flight but the Bangladeshi pacer shared a huge respect for Viat.

For Virat, it was another disappointment as he is yet to reach a half century in the test series so far.  He scored 1 and 19 not out in the two innings in the first test at Zahur Ahmed Chaudhury stadium. Kohli was dismissed cheaply in the first innings by Taijul Islam. He remained not out though on 19 runs in the second innings.

The 34-year-old, who scored his 72nd international century in the third and final ODI in Chittagong, fell for the off-side trap after playing a patient knock of 24 runs on Day 2 of the ongoing Test.
