Take a look at why Australia all rounder Glenn Maxwell lodged an FIR on his wedding night
Xtra Time Web Desk : Swashbuckling Australia all rounder Glenn Maxwell on Monday completed his wedding with Vini Raman, an Australian doctor of Indian descent according to rituals of both the countries.
The high profile wedding which came out as a result of a long love story between the Bride and the Groom did have a funny side to it.
As per Indian marriage rituals, Maxwell's brothers and sisters in law along with some of his wife's close friends did hide his shoes as if it had been stolen to which the all rounder reacted seriously and lodged an FIR to contemplate with.
But, as the 32 year old wasn't aware of the above ritual, he was later told about the incident after which Maxi took back the complaint. The incident turned out to be a pretty funny one and the fans enjoyed it too on social media.
Maxwell will now arrive in India as the country's son in law for the first time and join the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp to provide the franchise some brilliant firepower.
