Sachin Tendulkar : The Master Blaster, also known as the God of Cricket had the superstition of wearing the left pad first, during his playing days, because he considered it to be a lucky charm.

Sourav Ganguly : The Prince of Calcutta always had his Guruji’s photo in his pocket, during his playing days. The 49 year old, famously called as ‘Dada’ considered this act of his to be lucky.

Virender Sehwag : The Nawab of Nafargarh, known as one of the greatest strikers of the cricket ball ever, used a numberless jersey upon his comeback to the Indian Team after a stint of being out of the National set up. The former Delhi batter, who earlier used to wear jersey number 44, considered it not that lucky for him.

Zaheer Khan : The former Team India pace spearhead Zaheer, considered his yellow handkerchief to be a lucky one and carried it with him during all the important matches.

Rahul Dravid : The former Team India skipper, also known as ‘The Wall’ also too had a superstition. Dravid always wore the left thigh pad first and never took a new bat ahead of a new series.
