Xtra Time Web Desk : Team India all rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the star of the show on Day 2 of the 1st Test against Sri Lanka as late Shane Warne's 'Rockstar' amassed a brilliant 175* to take his team to a humongous total of 574/8.

And after his record breaking innings, Jadeja opened up about how he saw Shane Warne as his mentor and how he dedicated his superb knock on Saturday to his brother in law.

When asked about the legendary Warne who passed away on Friday, at the age of 52, Jaddu said, "It was shocking to hear about Shane Warne's death. In 2008 when I met him for first time, it was hard to believe to share dressing room with him. He gave me a big platform . It is sad that life is unpredictable."

The Chennai Super Kings' 'Rockstar' all rounder also took a wicket against a feeble Sri Lankan batting line up make the day more memorable for himself and the fans of Indian cricket.
