T20 World Cup squad: Bumrah, Harshal returns; Shami selected for series against Australia and SA

Xtra Time Web Desk: The All-India Senior Selection Committee met on Monday to pick India’s squads for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia and for the T20I series against Australia and South Africa at home. As expected, Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel has been included in the 15-member squad. Mohammed Shami was somewhat unlucky to miss the World Cup squad but the Bengal pacer did manage to get into the sides for the white ball series against Australia and South Africa at home. It is learnt that Shami will be kept ready in case Jasprit Bumrah or any other pacers get injured. Deepak Chahar, who was recently included in the Asia Cup match against Afghanistan was kept as stand by. There are no further surprises though. He is in the side for both the series against Australia and South Africa.
