Xtra Time Web Desk: Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad reckon consistency will be a key factor for Babar Azam and his team in the match against India in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The former Pakistan great feel the Pakistan players need to be consistent with their performance during the match against India.

“It isn’t necessary that players who generally perform well will also do so during a match,” Miandad was quoted as saying on Geo News.

The former Pakistan cricketer has been involved in many Indo-Pak clashes on the cricket field. But unfortunately, he has never been able to be on the winning side during major ICC events against India.

Pakistan have never beaten India in the World Cup irrespective of the format they played in. The last time these two teams met was in the 2019 World Cup at the Old Trafford in Manchester. In that game, Rohit Sharma scored 140 and made sure the India beat Pakistan by 89 runs D/L Method. In their previous meeting in the T20 World Cup back in 2016, hosts India got past their arch-rivals by six wickets at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
