Suryakumar Yadav, Saurabh Kumar likely as stand-by for test series against Bangladesh

Xtra Time Web Desk: As a reward for his good showing in the white ball format, the selectors are likely to put Suryakumar Yadav on the standby for the upcoming two match test series against Bangladesh. Left arm spinner Saurabh Kumar has also been kept as stand-by for injured Ravindra Jadeja as the all-rounder will miss the test series as well according to reports.

Jadeja is not yet hundred percent fit and is still undergoing rehab. The all-rounder is currently busy campaigning for wife Rivaba in Gujarat Assembly Elections. Rivaba is a BJP candidate from Jamnagar (North) constituency.

Jadeja is out of action since the middle of Asia Cup after he had a freak injury during a team-bonding fun activity in Dubai, He was forced to return back to India and had to undergo a knee surgery in Mumbai. The left hander had to miss the recently concluded T20 World Cup in Australia as well.
