Suryakumar, Kuldeep and Washington visit Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain for the speedy recovery of Pant

Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India cricketers Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar paid a visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on Monday morning, to offer prayers for the speedy recovery of wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant. Pant had met with a fatal road accident on NH 58 on December 30. The 25-year-old recently had a surgery on his knee ligament and is expected to miss the upcoming test series against Australia and IPL 2023 season.  

Team India’s star batter Suryakumar Yadav along with spinner duo Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple to offer prayers for the speedy recovery of Pant. The bowling coach of Indian team, Paras Mhambrey also accompanied them.

The players took part in ‘Bhasma Aarti’ of Lord Shiva. All of them were seen wearing the traditional dhoti and angavastram for the occasion.

The Indian team is currently in Indore for the third and final ODI against New Zealand to be played at the Holkar stadium on January 24. Rohit Sharma and his boys have already sealed the ODI series.
