Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India captain and Delhi Capitals’ Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly spent a long time with Yash Dhull during the camp in Kolkata on Tuesday. Ganguly was seen working with Dhull’s footwork during the nets at the JU Campus in Salt Lake. The World Cup winning India U19 captain will be one of the few youngsters to watch out for this season along with Sarafaraz Khan.

It was the third short camp for Delhi Capitals in the city with the main camp scheduled to start from March 19 in Delhi. The players who attended the camp were Manish Pandey, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Khaleel Ahmed, Aman Khan and Praveen Dubey. Sourav was extremely impressed with the big hitting of Aman Khan in the nets.

The former India captain also had a long session with pacer duo Khaleel Ahmed and Kamalesh Nagarkoti. Both the pacers were seen practicing yorkers with markers on the pitch.

Meanwhile, DC Head Coach Ricky Ponting will join the squad from the main camp in Delhi. The overseas cricketers like Rovman Powell, Mustafizur Rahman will arrive this week in India. South African cricketers like Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi and Rilee Rossouw will join the DC camp only after the ODI series against Netherlands. The franchise has still not announced the replacement for Rishabh Pant. It will only be announced once Ricky Ponting joins the DC camp.
