XtraTime Web Desk – Sourav Ganguly was all set to get discharged today after he suffered from a mild heart attack on 2nd of January. However, the BCCI president decided to extend his stay till Thursday, as he will be heading towards home on 7th of January.
Famous Cardiologist, Dr. Devi Shetty paid a visit to check Sourav’s health condition. Dr. Shetty was very happy with the progress and also said that Sourav’s heart is as good as it was in his 20’s.
Hundreds of people gathered in front of the hospital today with the hope that Sourav will be released today. However, to their disappointment, Dada will be discharged tomorrow and without any doubt, those people will once again come to see their idol.

Report of routine blood tests are satisfactory,
Echocardiography shows preserved left ventricular function with ejection fraction of 56%
ECG is normal.
Members of medical board met yesterday morning and discussed with Dr Devi Shetty after his visit with Mr. Ganguly, Dr. Shetty praised the entire team of Woodlands effort in his brief to the press.
Treating doctors will be keeping constant vigil on his health situation and taking appropriate measures from time to time at home.
Mr. Ganguly will be discharged tomorrow as he wants to stay back one more day.
