Sourav Ganguly face off with Jay Shah ahead of BCCI AGM

Xtra Time Web Desk: Ahead of the Board of Control Control India’s (BCCI) Annual General Meeting in Ahmedabad on Thursday, a cricket match will be organised at the Sardar Patel Stadium where BCCI President Sourav Ganguly and Secretary Jay Shah will take on each other. The match will be played at the newly-built Motera Stadium in the city. It is the largest cricket stadium in the world with a seating capacity of over 1, 14,000.

The BCCI members will be divided into two teams for the inaugural game, which will be the first-ever cricket match at the iconic stadium. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and BCCI secretary Jay Shah will be leading the two teams respectively. It will be the first time the two board administrators will come up against each other for the first time on the pitch.

Former IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla will be the referee in the match. As per sources, 28 members of the BCCI electoral board will be present in the AGM.
