Internet Desk: He has been the most indispensable part for Mohun Bagan in the last few years. Not just the I-League, the Haitian has given literally everything to the Green and Maroon brigade. Even the first ever I-League trophy for Mohun Bagan in 2015, came after some sublime performances by him. But the availability of Sony Norde is very much in doubts for Mohun Bagan as he could feature in any of the ISL franchises if his club Mohun Bagan sticks with the plan of playing in the I-League and not in the ISL.
In an interaction with www.xtratime.in , Mohun Bagan Assistant Secretary Srinjoy Bose said, "Well Sony is our asset. We definitely want to keep him in our squad for the next season. But one needs to understand the fact that unlike this season, the I-League and ISL will be played simultaneously next season. So the source of income for the players will also become limited. The players would definitely want to play in the club where where they will get more money. So it's too early to say about the future of Norde at Mohun Bagan. He might play, he might not."
