The Bagan officials too were seen speaking with him quite frequently. But he was holding his emotions into check. The moment coach Shankarlal Chakraborty called for a team hurdle after the training Sony too no time to join the team, probably for one last time. Hundreds of fans who were waiting just to see their magician once more, screamed in deffening cheer the moment he left the club tent, and yes for one last time. The love, the emotions seemed to have known no bounds the moment Sony floated his presence among the fans, who he gave so much in the last few years. The fans as if were reluctant to leave his hands, his shoulders. The 2 minutes walk from the club tent to the main gate took almost 10 minutes and beyond. Sony just smiled, a smile of pain. He took his car left the club from the training where almost the majority of the fans crying like anything, probably for one last time.

The historic club had so many heroes over the years, but the love, the emotion was depicted today, was perhaps can only be compared to what one Brazilian Jose Ramirez Barreto had got when he left the club in tears a few years back.
