Xtra Time Web Desk: The second T20I between India and South Africa at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati had to be stopped for a few minutes before the start of the 8th over of the first innings because of a snake. The live visuals showed that a snake had entered the playing area. The South African players were the first to notice it and they made everyone aware about it. Soon, the ground officials entered the field and took it away.
The Indian players in the dugout were also surprised to see the snake enter the field. The players utilized the time and took drinks break. There have been many occasions of the play being disrupted due to snake entering the field and it has now happened in an international fixture in India as well.
