XtraTime Web Desk: Chelsea striker Callum Hudson Odoi was arrested on Sunday morning from his house in London on suspicion of raping a model. The Metropolitan Police has taken Odoi on police custody but later released on bail, as per a report in The Sun.

The 19 year old young sensation is suspected to have invited the model at his apartment. He got in touch with the model online and even sent her a vehicle for pick up. Later the women called on the police and ambulance services for not feeling well.

According to a Metropolitan Police spokesman, 'Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday, 17 May to a report of an unwell woman.’

'When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital.

'A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June.'

The news is no less than shocking as the youngster was touted as the next big thing in English football.

Odoi was scheduled to return to Chelsea’s group training ahead of the resumption of the Premier League on June 17.
