Shikhar Dhawan creates history in his 100th ODI

Internet Desk: Indian cricket team’s star opener Shikhar Dhawan has made history today as he became the first Indian cricketer to hit a ton in his 100th ODI. He has achieved this feat during the fourth of six-match ODI series at the Wanderers in Johannesburg today.

The left-hand batsman from Delhi made his debut back in 2010 against the Aussies, hit his 13th ODI ton in just 99 deliveries. By doing so he has become the ninth batsman in the world who has a century in his 100th ODI game. Dhawan hit two gigantic sixes and ten bounderies to reach his first century on Proteas soil.

Before Dhawan, Aussie destructive opener David Warner was the last batsman to touch this feat who hit a ton against the Men in Blue in September 2017.
