Serie A: Champions Juventus humiliated by Cagliari, Ibrahimovic stars in Milan win

XtraTime Web Desk: Champions Juventus suffered a shock 0-2 defeat against Cagliari in Serie A at the Sardegna Arena on Wednesday night. The side from Turin was humbled within three days after claiming the ninth consecutive Serie A title, beating Sampdoria 2-0 on Sunday. Luca Gagliano (8’) and Giovanni Simeone (45+2’) were on target for the home side.
Cagliari took an early lead through Luca Gagliano as he tapped past Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon. The 20 year old then set up the second goal for his side as he played a perfect pass to Giovanni Simeone who made no mistake. This was the first win for Cagliari over Juventus in 11 years.
Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice and set up another as AC Milan thrashed Sampdoria 4-1to stay unbeaten since the Serie A season restarted.

Juventus lead the table with 83 points from 37 games, four points clear of second placed Inter Milan (79) while Atalanta(78) and Lazio (78) are placed third and fourth respectively.
