Savio was a highly rated player, having played his entire career for Salgaocar SC prior becoming the team's coach. He began as an assistant coach and took over the control in the 2001-02 NFL (National Football League) season. He continued to lead for six years and then accepted the invitation from AIFF to become the assistant coach for India under Bob Houghton. He was appointed as the national team coach in 2011 and managed the team in 2011 SAFF Cup and 2012 AFC Challenge Cup. Exiting Technical Director Scott O'Donell is a former Australian national football team player and tookover from Robert Baan in 2015. The former Cambodia coach had mentioned family reasons and a desired to go back to Australia instead of quitting
