XtraTime Web Desk: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza on Saturday blasted people for sharing ‘cooking videos’ on social media amid coronavirus pandemic. It has become a fashion these days during lockdown to post pics and cooking videos on social platforms like twitter and instagram by the celebrities and common people.
In a post on her twitter handle, Sania had shared her frustration. She wrote, “Aren’t we done with posting cooking videos and food pictures yet? Just spare a thought – there are hundreds of thousands of people, specially on our side of the world starving to heath and struggling to find food even once a day if they are lucky.”
More than 1,100,000 have been infected by the virus while in excess of 58,000 have lost their lives worldwide. India is currently on a 21-day nationwide lockdown as the government is looking to contain Covid-19. Only in India, more than 2900 people have been infected so far while 68 succumbed to the pandemic.
