Xtra Time Web Desk: With the ODI series already secured, India cricket team is gearing up for the third ODI in Rajkot on September 27, and it promises to be an exciting clash as the big stars return. Despite missing key players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Hardik Pandya for the first two ODIs, India put on a commanding performance with both bat and ball.

As the World Cup looms just 10 days away, Kohli, Rohit, and Pandya will make their comeback, ensuring they get valuable game time. Rohit Sharma is set to be back opening the batting as Ruturaj Gaikwad will be leading the Indian team for the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou. Kohli, who reached Rajkot on Tuesday morning will be back at No 3. Hardik Pandya will return in place of Prasidh Krishna.

In the second ODI, India outclassed Australia, winning by 99 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis Method. Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill delivered brilliant centuries, while spin duo Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin picked up three wickets each.

With Rohit and Kohli returning to the top order, Shreyas Iyer is expected to bat at number four. However, coach Rahul Dravid faces a pleasant dilemma with Suryakumar Yadav finding his form, scoring two half centuries at a blistering strike rate of over 100. Surya's resurgence before the World Cup is a significant boost for India, but Dravid will need to make tough decisions on how to accommodate him alongside the returning Rohit and Virat.
