Rohit made this visit to Percy's residence at the request of prominent Sri Lankan cricket fan Gayan Senanayake. The Indian captain was told that Percy, who is 87 years old is not keeping well.

Uncle Percy has been facing health challenges recently. Rohit Sharma's visit was a touching gesture, capturing hearts on the internet as a video of their interaction went viral.

Accompanied by members of the Indian team fielding coach TP Dileep and throwdown specialist Nuwan, Rohit spent quality time with Percy during his visit, even autographing memorabilia for the Sri Lankan cricket enthusiast.
