Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricketers had a day off on Tuesday. The entire team along with birthday boy Hardik Pandya visited Rottnest Island. The island is situated off shore from the city of Perth in Western Australia. It is a protected nature reserve.
The star of the day was Hardik Pandya who celebrated his 29th birthday. Hardik was seen cutting a cake surrounded by teammates. All the cricketers posted pictures on their social media handles. Virat Kohli posted a photo alongside Deepak Hooda, Harshal Patel and Axar Patel. A special dinner has also been planned at the Team hotel.
Mr 360 Suryakumar Yadav posted a small video of him driving the boat with a caption ‘moving in the right direction’.
Meanwhile, the India cricketers have been busy preparing for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Ever since they landed in Perth, they have been involved in nets practice.
The Indian team had a convincing win against Western Australia XI in the first practice match at WACA on Monday. Rohit and his boys will play another practice match on Wednesday, October 13 at WACA against the same opponents.
