Rohit Sharma led Indian team leaves for Dubai for Asia Cup 2022

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma left for Dubai on Tuesday morning to take part in Asia Cup which will get underway from August 27. Virat Kohli was accompanied with his family. The Indian players will undergo a three-day short camp before taking on arch rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on August 28.

The Indian cricketers had a fitness test at the National Cricket Academy before leaving for Dubai. The likes of KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi will join the squad from Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile the Pakistani cricketers have already reached Dubai from Amsterdam after playing a series against Netherlands. Babar Azam and his boys will also undergo training for three days before the crunch game against India on Sunday.

Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Usman Qadir are already in Dubai. They will replace Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha and Zahid Mehmood, who were part of the 16-member ODI squad against the Netherlands.
