Rohit Sharma & Co reach Guwahati for 2nd T20I | INDvsSA

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma reached the North East state of Assam on Thursday evening to play the 2nd T20I against South Africa. The Men in Blue will be training at the Barsapara stadium on Saturday. The visiting South African team too reached Guwahati on Thursday. Both the teams were greeted with local dance Bihu.

There were hundreds of fans outside the airport and team hotel to get a glimpse of their favourite cricketers. The Indian team is likely to train at Guwahati for two consecutive days ahead of the second T20I on Sunday/

As far as the series goes, hosts India lead the three match T20I series 1-0 following their comprehensive win against Proteas at Trivandrum. Temba Bavuma and his boys will be eager to bounce back from the 1st game defeat. But for that to happen, South Africa batters need to come up with a better batting display.
