Rohit Sharma and his boys reach Chennai for third ODI against Australia | INDvsAUS

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team led by captain Rohit Sharma reached Chennai for the third ODI against Australia at Chepauk on Thursday. The Men in Blue arrived in Chennai on Monday afternoon.

The Indian team will have a training session on Tuesday and Wednesday before playing the final ODI. The hosts were thrashed by Australia in the second ODI at Vizag by ten wickets. Rohit & co will be eyeing to make a strong comeback. Not only a series win is at stake for Indian cricket team but the World number 1 ODI rankings too is in the spot of bother. If India loses the Chennai ODI, then Australia will dethrone them from the top spot.

The three match ODI series is level 1-1 with India getting completely outplayed by Australia in the second ODI, losing by heaviest margin in terms of balls.

Indian team has two days to prepare before playing the Aussies in the ODI series decider at Chennai. It was once again exposed Indian batters weakness against left arm quicks. Australia’s left arm pacer Mitchell Starc was all over Indian batting order as he took five wickets. The batting unit have also not clicked with big guns Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav failing in two consecutive games.
