Robin Uthappa retires from all forms of cricket

Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India and Karnataka cricketer Robin Uthappa announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday (September 14). He announced his decision via a social media post on Twitter.

36-year-old Uthappa represented India in 46 ODIs and 13 T20Is, and was also a part of India’s T20 World Cup winning squad in 2007.

Robin has been a part of IPL since its inaugural season. He recently plied his trade with Chennai Super Kings.

In a tweet message the cricketer from Karnataka said, “It has been my greatest honour to represent my country and my state, Karnataka. However, all good things must come to an end, and with a grateful heart, I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket.”
