Rishabh Pant survives fatal car accident on Uttarakhand-Delhi highway

Xtra Time Web Desk: Star India cricketer Rishabh Pant met with a serious road accident as his car collided with a diver on National Highway 58 on Friday morning. Pant was first taken to Saksham Hospital before being shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Good news is he is stable and out of danger.

Pant was driving his BMW car on way to his native place in Dehradun. He lost control and collided with a divider. Luckily, he wasn’t wearing a seat belt as he jumped off the car which immediately caught fire. He had head and leg injuries and bruises in his back. According to reports, he may have damaged his ligament which can take him at least 6-12 months to recover.

Pant claimed he lost control of the car after falling asleep while driving, according to the Director General of Police in Uttarakhand. He was alone in the car at the time of the accident and broke a window to escape.

According to eyewitnesses, Rishabh’s car collided with the railing and caught fire. According to visuals which has already gone viral, the car is severely damaged due to fire.
