Xtra Time Web Desk: Is Rishabh Pant the most outrageous batter of modern era? The Delhi Capitals captain played a breath-taking shot in the game against Punjab Kings at DY Patil stadium on Monday night. It was a one handed six by Pant. The ball next, Rishabh tries to hit Livingstone for consecutive sixes but got stumped. It was a good comeback by the England cricketer.

Delhi was in a spot having lost Lalit Yadav with the scoreboard reading 98/3. Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal immediately brings in Liam Livingstone to bowl at Pant. It was the fifth ball of the 12th over.

Livingstone bowls a slow fuller delivery on off stump. Pant comes down the wicket and swings his bat just with one-hand and the ball goes over long-on for a maximum. It even brought smiles on Livingstone’s face.

But hang on. The next delivery a similar delivery and the DC captain is OUT stumped. Is there any other gears other than fifth gear for Pant or does he have a Plan B.

The England cricketer bowled a slow good length delivery wide of off stump. Pant is tempted to come down the track once more. The ball beats the bat and goes to the keeper and Jitesh Sharma has ample time to remove the bails as Pant has charged way out the crease.

This is not the first time with Rishabh Pant. He has got out playing some outrageous strokes that also brought downfall for the side
