Internet Desk: There is a wait for only some times to witness Usain Bolt winning his eighth Olympic Gold Medal. Last night he won the semi-final of the 200m easily to run the final on Thursday. When he crossed the finish line just two-hundredths of a second ahead of his rival and pal Andre De Grasse, they both had huge smiles on their faces.

Bolt took 19.78s to complete the 200m. Like all other previous runs he smiled after touching the finishing line. Bolt has already won the 100m and is now aiming for an eighth Olympic gold by retaining his 200m title.

But Bolt believes he can break his world record of 19.19 and could even go under 19 seconds in the final.

“I definitely think I can try for the world record, I definitely feel that,” he said. “I need to run efficiently and get into the straight and run the perfect race.”

However, there is bad news for athletics as Medal contender Justin Gatlin and Yohan Blake failed to qualify for the final of 200m. Gatlin completed his race by 20.13s. This is not at all close to his best 19.57s. Yohan Blake also could not reach his personal best of 19.26s making a timing of 20.37s yesterday.
