AIR News[/caption] Internet Desk: Indian skipper cum goal keeper Sreejesh stood as a wall to give India their first victory in Rio Olympics. In a dominating game over Ireland the victory came by 3-2. Indian drag flickers sparked from the beginning of the Rio Olympics to blow fans’ dream of Gold a big wind. From the beginning of the match India was in a leading position. Through out the first three quarters India had their dominance over the match. However, in the fourth quarter the Irish player fought gave fight to score two goals. It was Sreejesh who stood as a wall in-front of Ireland to stop them to score through out the match. At the end of the first quarter India scored their first goal. From the fourth earned penalty corner Raghunath scored the first goal. The second quarter was goalless. In the third quarter a goal of the irish was rejected. In the third quarter Rupinder scored the second goal for India and it was further from a penalty. The fourth and last quarter was a little frustrating for India as they conceived two goals from the penalties. Apart from those penalties Sreejesh saved several penalties for India. In the same quarter Rupinder advanced India after the first goal of Ireland. After this win India has to face Germany, probably the toughest match of their preliminary round.
