Despite so much success at Bengaluru FC, Spanish coach Albert Roca’s future is at stake. The contract with the gaffer is there till the end of this season and there is a possibility that the the club and the coach might part ways.

The Chief Technical Officer of Bengaluru FC, Mandar Tamhane told , “Nothing is decided as yet. Yes his contract with the club will expre at the end of this season. We all know how well he has performed in the last couple of seasons. We will surely speak to him with a request to stay. But we have time on our hands. Nothing is sure, but yes, if he refuses to stay, we have to rope on another coach. But as I said, we have a lot of time on our hands. Lets see what happens.”

It is learnt that Roca is missing Spain and his family and wants to go back to his country after the end of the season. He is still reluctant to renew his contract with the club. Roca did a remarkable job in his tenure, as he has won one Federation Cup and one Super Cup title with the Blues. His team ended as Runners up in their maiden appearance in the ISL as well.
