Red Turns Blue: RCB change profile colour to show support for MI
Xtra Time Web Desk: Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday changed the colour of their official Twitter profile to voice support for Mumbai in tonight’s game against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede stadium. For RCB to qualify for PlayOffs, Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians need to win their fixture against Delhi Capitals. The franchise also created a special hashtag Red Turns Blue.
With three spots already sealed for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 playoffs as Gujarat Titans (GT), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have confirmed their spot, only one spot remains and it is a straight shootout between DC and RCB.
RCB have finished their league stage campaign with 16 points while Delhi Capitals have 14 points to their name. A win over MI will see the Pant-led outfit go level points and upstage them for the elusive fourth spot as they have a better Net Run Rate (RR) than the Faf du Plessis-led side.
It is no surprise that all RCB supporters will be praying for a MI win on Saturday evening.
