Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India’s star all rounder Ravindra Jadeja is likely to miss the upcoming tour to Bangladesh in December. Jadeja has still not recovered fully after the freak injury he suffered during Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai. According to Cricbuzz, BCCI is likely to name a replacement for Jadeja. The all rounder was included in both the test and ODI side subject to fitness according to the media release dated October 31.
It is now learnt that the left hander is still not hundred percent fit and hence is likely to miss the upcoming tour to Bangladesh. Jadeja had a successful operation since returning from Dubai in the middle of Asia Cup. He has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy.
Meanwhile, the question is who will pick Jadeja’s replacement if any as the BCCI has sacked the entire selection committee led by Chetan Sharma. According to reports, Chetan Sharma and his panel is still carrying on their work and may announce the replacement some time later this week, when the India A squad also is expected to be announced.
