Rashid’s parents are no more in this world to see their son establish himself as a successful cricketer specially in the T20 format. He lost both his parents at a young age.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Rashid took to social media to outpour his emotions. “#MothersDay slaps different when she’s not here 😥😥,” he wrote, “Dear Mom, Could you come back and stay for while,I want to hear your voice and see you smile.I want to hold you tight and never let you go and tell u how much I love u.Remembering you is easy,I do it everyday,but missing you is heartache that never goes away. #happymothersday”
The Gujarat Titans leggie is enduring an ordinary IPL this year with the ball in terms of wickets. Rashid has so far claimed 11 wickets from as many games at an economy rate of 6.84, figures which definitely won’t please him much.
