Rare honour for AIFF Senior Vice-President Subrata Dutta

Gopal Roy: Great news as All India Football Federation’s Senior Vice President Subrata Dutta will represent the nation on a whole new level. Today the first Annual General Meeting of South West Asian Football Federation room place at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia where Dutta was elected as the Vice-President of the federation. The President of the federation will be Saudi Football Federation’s President Mr. Adil Izzat. In the Working Committee there are representatives from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal as well. At the end of this month SWAFF President  Adil Izzat will come to India to meet AIFF President Shri. Praful Patel. The federation had already announced that they will give 3.5 crore rupees every year to the AIFF. Ahead of the AFC Asian Cup they have arranged a friendly game between India and Saudi Arabia as well. The match will be played on November 16.

But it’s a great news that Subrata Dutta is the new Vice-President of the SWAFF. While talking to www.xtratime.in from Jeddah, Dutta said,” My main moto will be the development of Indian football and I want to work together with everyone.” He will return to Kolkata on Tuesday. Beside the Vice-President of SWAFF, Dutta is the Senior Vice-President of the AIFF and the Chairman of the IFA.
