On being asked about the matter, the 1983 World Cup winning team member Balwinder Singh Sandhu told www.xtratime.in that,” The film director Mr. Kabir Khan has strictly told me not to tell anything on this matter to anyone right now. But I can only say that as I was a part of that historic event it’s a privilege for me to be a part of the film. Beside that I am also happy that I am getting the opportunity to train a professional actor like Ranveer Singh.”

Earlier in the movie M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story director Neeraj Pandey took the help of former Indian cricketer & Chief Selector Kiran More’s help as he helped Sushant Singh Rajput to learn the techniques of Dhoni and now in this film director kabir Khan is using Balwinder Singh Sandhu in the same way as he will help Ranveer to learn the body language & techniques of Kapil as it will enrich the liveliness of the movie.
